Situated around the Lu Jia Bang River and 57 acres of lush greenscape, the Zhangjiang Semiconductor Research Park is attracting technology and research companies to the heart of Shanghai by offering state-of-the-art flexible lab and office spaces in a garden-style green office environment. The second phase of the development opened late last year, adding 80 research facilities across 118 acres. Architect MulvannyG2 Architecture, Bellevue, Wash., worked with local designer East China Architectural Design and Research Institute to develop the master plan, which groups the buildings into five international communities—Seattle, Florence, Munich, New York's Central Park, and Shanghai—each with an architectural style to match.
