Fluorescent lamps shatter-resistant

Aug. 11, 2010

Shatter-resistant fluorescent lamps offer energy efficiency without the inconvenience and added labor costs of dealing with unwieldy sleeves and caps. With no assembly required, the CovRGuard lamps can be placed into a fixture right from the box. Wrapped in a 15-mil-thick shield of polycarbonate plastic, they have UV stability. Glass fragments and phosphors are contained if the lamp is broken.
