Major renovation for historic Northwestern Building in Minneapolis
Minneapolis’s Northwestern Building, originally built in 1914 as a glass factory, is undergoing a major renovation. The 85,000-sf, four-story building is now serves as office space for multiple tenants in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood.
RJM Construction is renovating 26,000 sf of common areas with work consisting of restored windows, repairs to the roof and building exterior, mechanical system improvements, elevator upgrades and new finishes. Construction is scheduled to be completed by summer of 2014.
RJM Construction also is renovating space in the Northwestern Building for tenant Yamamoto, which will occupy 12,000 sf on the second floor.
