Call for speakers: Accelerate AEC! innovation conference, May 2019

Interested in sharing your great solution or novel innovation for the AEC market or built environment?

The editors of Building Design+Construction invite you to submit a topic for one of the 20 coveted speaker slots at the 2019 Accelerate Live! AEC innovation conference, May 2019, in New York. This one-of-a-kind AEC event will bring together business and tech leaders from the AEC Giant firms to debate the future of the AEC market and the changing built environment in an intimate, high-energy forum.

Accelerate Live! will showcase 20 captivating speakers, who will have 15 minutes and six slides each to present a single, game-changing innovation for the AEC industry or built environment. (Watch all 19 talks from the 2018 event, and 20 talks from the 2017 event.)

The presentations will be divided into four tracks:  

• AEC Tech Breakthroughs—data in AEC, reality capture, gaming, BIM/VDC, VR/AR, IoT, drones, etc.

• AEC Business Innovation—emerging business models, the rise of the innovation culture, the future of the AEC firm, etc.

• The Changing Built Environment—the connected city, sustainability, building science, material breakthroughs, etc.

• Project + Process Innovation—game-changing projects, novel design/construction methods, research initiatives, etc.

Select presentations will be live-streamed on social media and BDCnetwork.com to BD+C’s 150,000+ online audience. This high-energy innovation conference is a can’t-miss event! #Accelerate19

The audience profile includes project architects, managing architects, project managers, project executives, construction executives, BIM/VDC directors, sustainability leaders, business development and marketing managers, and other leaders in the AEC industry and commercial construction market.

Honorarium: All selected speakers will receive a $500 honorarium to help cover travel and expenses.
