The Wyoming Highway Patrol's Torrington Port of Entry station at the Nebraska border had a problem: intense sunlight in the summer and glare from snow in the winter made it difficult for agents to see out the windows. To resolve the problem without compromising the agents' unobstructed views to the outside, SageGlass glazing was installed, allowing windows to automatically tint or clear in response to changing daylight conditions. Sensors were programmed to automatically let in one of four light levels throughout the day, enabling agents to see clearly out of the station at any time of day. BD+C
