The recent renovation of the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville incorporated spray polyurethane foam (SPF) to insulate guestroom walls and create a new bar and lounge. Led by DF Chase (general contractor) and Insulation Solutions of Tennessee (SPF contractor), the Building Team chose CertaSpray closed-cell foam insulation to cover exposed brick during wall system renovations in guestrooms. Redesign of the hotel’s Cascade Atrium also featured closed-cell SPF. A new bar and lounge, called The Falls Bar, uses the product to support the bar’s weight and anticipated live loads of the bar area.
