Commuters in Atlanta train stations may spot a melting fan, gravity-defying bench, or asymmetrical heart during their workday travels. These eye-catching sculptures are part of “Light Up Atlanta,” an exhibition created by Corian and commissioned by C.H. Briggs, a local building products distributor. Conceived by some of the city’s best designers, the pieces are made with DuPont Corian, a solid surface material, and reflect how the city has inspired the artists. Featured designers include: Kellen Minor, Shelly-Anne Tulia Scott, Jim Ferguson, Tae Jun Park, Ted Freeman, Lisa Lin, and a team from IA Interior Architects.
