HOAR Construction new office Austin, Texas
HOAR Construction expanded their presence in Texas with the opening of an Austin office on December 1.

Even as the construction industry still struggles, HOAR Construction expanded their presence in Texas with the opening of an Austin office on December 1. Several recent and current large projects in central and northwest Texas prompted the decision.

Jeff Light, recently promoted to Contract Manager, will be responsible for office management and operations. The office will employ four full time staff with additional on-site project staff across central and north Texas.

HOAR continues work in Abilene, Texas on Hendrick Medical Center’s largest construction project to date, the Project Twenty Ten campus expansion, set to open in January 2012. HOAR just completed the Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center for Abilene Christian University.

Construction at Lakeway Regional Medical Center just west of Austin should be complete in the first quarter of 2012. Hoar also broke ground last month on the Texas Tech University School of Nursing in Abilene.  BD+C
