Bellevue, Wash.'s Hines Expedia Tower has received LEED Core and Shell Gold certification. The 20-story office building—the first newly constructed office building in Bellevue to achieve LEED Gold—features a glass façade and full-height windows to maximize views of Lake Washington, Mt. Rainier, and the Cascades. Designed by Seattle-base LMN, the building maximizes daylight and features a half-acre outdoor plaza with native, drought-tolerant plants.
