Cadence McShane Construction Company has announced that its Hermosa Village Apartments received first place in this year's National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Best in American Living Award, in the category of "Multifamily Developments Up to 3-stories for Rent."
The project was selected out of hundreds of BALA entries based on the criteria of exterior and interior design, efficient land use, site plan creativity, building plans, innovative material application, and the ability to meet the client needs.

Hermosa Village, in Leander, Texas, was completed by Cadence McShane in 2020. The apartment complex features 238 garden-style units that are designed to resemble farmhouses.

Plans for Hunter’s Point South, the largest new affordable housing complex to be built in New York City since the 1970s, include new residences for 5,000 families, with more than 900 in this first phase.
