Haynes Whaley Associates recently welcomed Robert Pronier to their Reston, Va. office, where he will serve as regional manager and firm vice-president.
John Gander will retire from his current post as vice-president and general manager for the Haynes Whaley Reston office.
Gander, who has been leading the office since 2000, began planning his retirement more than two years ago when the search for his replacement began. Pronier was selected to assume the management role because of his track record within the AEC industry as well as his leadership style and fit with the Haynes Whaley office culture.
Over the past 30 years, Pronier has worked in the construction industry, most recently serving as senior vice-president at Smith Management Construction Inc., previously part of the Charles E. Smith Companies, one of the largest real estate organizations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. +
