The Nanning China Resources Center Tower has officially topped out. The 1,322-foot-tall tower will be the tallest completed tower Goettsch Partners, the project’s architect, has ever designed and will also become the tallest building in Nanning, China.

The mixed-use tower is located in a rapidly growing area of Guangxi Province’s capital and has a tapered, stepped form topped with an illuminated crown. Across the tower’s 85 floors will be over 170,000 sm of office space, nearly 6,000 sm of retail, and a 336-key Shangri-La hotel.

The building’s facade will be made entirely of high-performance glass. Integrated sunshades will control solar gain without interfering with floor-to-ceiling views or incoming natural light. The tower is being designed and built to meet LEED-CS Gold standards and is located near mass transit.
