Sue Klawans has been named director of operational excellence and planning for Gilbane Building Co. A vice president with the company and long-time leader of client satisfaction initiatives, Klawans will assume a wide range of responsibilities with a direct focus on improving value to clients through a Lean approach including collaboration, efficiency and continuous improvement.
In her new role, Klawans will serve as a champion for business process and technical training efforts, help ensure a āone-companyā execution of planning efforts and other initiatives, oversee and support client satisfaction efforts, direct the customer service team for Gilbaneās online and mobile project management applications, and work closely with the Companyās internal peer groups to advance Lean operations. +
