According to a recent report from Forbes, Houston is America's top city for new construction in 2014. With $25.1 billion in starts from January to September this year, Houston has seen a 176% increase in new projects since 2013.Ā
Eight of the 10 biggest new construction projects (in terms of cost to build) are energy and chemicals facilities, according to Forbes.
