Teams can connect from anywhere in the world through Thunder, reducing business travel.

Sustainable design

The Leap chair has a slimmer design with a three-inch reduction in external width but the same-size seating area as when it was introduced in 1999. A life cycle assessment of the chair has been completed to measure its environmental impact through every step of its lifespan. Leap has been awarded Silver Cradle to Cradle Product Certification and is Greenguard certified for indoor air quality. The chair's LiveBack technology is currently licensed to both the leading automotive and airline seat manufacturers.

Tables that become screens

The Groupwork table can flip from a locked horizontal usable surface position to an upright vertical position for easy storage. The flip table's patented mechanism allows one person to effortlessly operate the table. The user's hands are never in a compromised position thanks to intuitive, easy-to-flip design.

Free-standing, flexible space furniture

Herman Miller's Resolve line supports professionals and various work styles throughout an organization. Its smart structure creates open, space-efficient workstations designed to make people feel comfortable and connected. Vertical poles in three heights (96, 60, and 48 inches) work with horizontal support arms to define work areas, provide a strong structural foundation, support hang-on components, and make power and data accessible to the user. Trusses attach to tall pole tops to route power and data cables overhead and delineate space. An acoustical insert provides a sound transmission class (STC) performance of 18 or more.

A flexible solution for healthcare office spaces

There is no single solution for every room in a hospital or clinic. Nurture recognizes this and provides a solution with Opus casegoods, which combine the convenience of traditional freestanding casegoods with the flexibility of modular furniture. The components can be combined in numerous configurations, including storage, seating, display, and even a sink unit. The design allows for flexibility to adapt over time to changing needs. Components are available in laminate and veneer with hardware choices to complement various décors.

The international executive chair

The Siento chair, created in collaboration with Spanish designer Jorge Pensi, is designed for executive offices, conference rooms, and other high-end workspaces. Siento incorporates Steelcase's patented LiveBack technology, which allows the chair back to change shape and mimic the user's spine as it moves throughout the day. It also features a flexible front-seat edge, adjustable seat height, upright back lock, and back tension adjustment.

Get set for training

Office furniture designed for in-house education programs must satisfy the needs of the facility manager, the speaker or trainer/facilitator, and the “students.” Allsteel's Get Set tables can be easily moved and reconfigured. The intuitive controls include a squeeze handle for the flip-top mechanism and sliding latch and release for the table legs. Both are easy to locate and operate. Anyone responsible for setting up the meeting can do the job alone. The meeting facilitator can also reconfigure the space during the session, creating changing environments to help keep the audience engaged.

Adjustable desks for any space

The Genesis desk system desks can be specified in a fixed height or three adjustable options—pin-height, crank-height, or electric-height adjustable. Genesis can be adjusted from 27 inches to 43 inches high, allowing users to stand up and stretch while continuing to work. Height adjustability operates independently of privacy screens and dividers. The system's freestanding design makes it easy to reconfigure based on the requirements of individual users. Power and data are managed through power-up modules or hardwiring through troughs under the table surface. Options include modesty panels, privacy screens, storage space, and five edge styles.

Refining the executive chair

Featuring a sophisticated design that works in a wide range of office settings, the Burton leather chair provides comfortable seating and ergonomic performance for hours of computer use or meetings. The chair features a synchro-tilt mechanism that automatically adjusts the individual's set level of tilt and an upright back-lock for a variety of seating and comfort choices. Available in high- and low-back options.
