Esperanza at Duarte Station, a 344-unit, five-story apartment community located on 4.3 acres of land in Duarte, Calif., has recently broken ground. The project will also include a seven-and-a-half-story parking structure.

Twelve floor plans ranging from 514 sf to 1,090 sf will be offered across studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment units. Residents will be able to enjoy a unique rooftop indoor/outdoor fitness center, a club room and resort-style pool and spa, outdoor entertainment and cooking spaces, a co-working venue, a dog park, a pet washing station, and multiple open spaces including a linear park that runs the entire length of the community.

Esperanza at Duarte Station will be located just 11 miles from downtown Pasadena and 22 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Residents will have easy access to Trader Joe’s, Target, Walmart, and other major retail and entertainment options, while also being within walking distance of City of Hope, a 120-acre comprehensive cancer treatment center and a major employer in the area.

The project is a joint venture of MBK Rental Living and Haseko Corporation. Project partners also include Architects Orange, R.D. Olson Construction, PBA Structural Engineers, and MJS Landscape. The community is slated for completion in 2023.
