FGM Architects has acquired SRBL Architects. All SRBL staff members joined FGM Architects Inc. effective January 3, 2012.

During 2010 and 2011, FGM engaged in a firm-wide strategic planning effort. The core goal developed in the strategic plan was to become truly expert in each market. The firm reviewed gaps in each of the markets and identified a need in the municipal market for stronger police facility design expertise as well as additional project management and design expertise for this market.

FGM played an integral role in the article Passive Strategies for Building Healthy Schools, An AIA/CES Discovery Course, which appeared in the March issue of BD+C.
