LEGOLAND’s first water park in Europe, and the first in the world to be included in a non-LEGO theme park, is set to open in Italy’s Gardaland Theme Park.

The 160,000-sf park will include millions of LEGO bricks, interactive water games, and fully themed areas. Featured attractions include Miniland, a themed area filled with Italy’s most famous monuments built from over four million LEGO bricks; the LEGO River Adventure, a lazy river that allows guests to customize their floats with floating LEGO bricks; LEGO Creation Island, where guests can decorate a large sand castle and build boats and vessels with LEGO bricks; and the DUPLO Water Works, which allows guests to build bridges, dams, and cities with DUPLO bricks and test them against powerful jets of water.

Other areas will feature colorful slides, large pools, water jets, multi-level play areas, water cannons, and a pool and splash area specifically for younger children. LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland is set to open on May 28.
