Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is currently in the process of a major expansion, and the centerpiece of that expansion is the Gran Destino Tower. The tower will serve as the new main entry for guests visiting the resort.
The 15-story tower will include 545 new guest rooms, which includes 50 suites, a two-story lobby, and a themed table-service restaurant on the top floor. The restaurant, dubbed Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, will feature views of Walt Disney World Resort and offer indoor dining and a lounge with indoor and outdoor seating.

The tower, and the entire Coronado Springs Resort expansion and update, will celebrate Spanish explorers, artists, writers, and architects. The 1,800-plus existing rooms at the resort have already been updated with new fixtures, furnishings, and lighting.
Gran Destino Tower is slated to open in July 2019. Reservations began on Nov. 27.
