New York-based architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro was selected to design Colorado Springs, Colo.'s Olympic Museum, The Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

According to ArchDaily, the firm was selected by the U.S. Olympic Museum committee to design a $60 million museum in downtown Colorado Springs. The firm will collaborate with Anderson Mason Dale Architects of Denver and Washington, D.C.-based museum planning firm Gallagher & Associates.

The museum is slated for an early 2018 completion. It will include a hall of fame, theater, retail space, and a 20,000-sf hall that will showcase the history of the Olympics and Paralympics.

ArchDaily reports that designs are expected to be released by mid-2015.
