Holabird & Root announces that Travis Clifton accepted the position of Director of Interior Design at Holabird & Root.

“Travis has a range of attributes that make her the perfect person for this position,” said James Baird, FAIA, LEED AP, a principal at Holabird & Root. “Her tremendous design experience and the successful management of her own business, matched with her understanding and desire to integrate architecture, interior design, and engineering make her the comprehensible candidate we were looking for.”

Clifton holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and has over 20 years focused in designing high quality interior spaces. She has worked for several leading firms including Carlos Martinez & Associates and Gary Lee Partners before beginning her own firm, T Clifton Design, Ltd. in 2005. Clifton has been featured in many respective magazines in and outside of the interior design world and has been awarded numerous awards throughout her career, including two AIA Chicago Design Excellence Awards. She was also the winner of the IIDA Interior Design Competition in Office Design in 2001. BD+C
