The U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Field Validation Results Hub provides test results of innovative building technologies.

The one-stop-shop has information associated with completed and ongoing technology validations in occupied, operational buildings. Architects, engineers, and construction management firms can use this information to make better decisions about new technologies to help meet energy reduction goals.

The information is broken out in the following categories: HVAC, Lighting, Envelope, Data Management, Plug Loads, Refrigeration, and Water. The findings were generated from studying new technologies incorporated in many categories of commercial buildings.

DOE partners with the General Services Admiration (GSA) for field validation projects in federal facilities. Results and findings from these efforts can be found on the GSA Proving Ground webpage.
