Morris Architects Joins Huitt-Zollars
DALLAS, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce that, as of December 31, 2012, the firm of Morris Architects has become an operating entity of Huitt-Zollars, Inc. "This transaction will significantly diversify our building design capabilities," said Bob Zollars, founder and CEO of Huitt-Zollars. "We are committed in the coming years to providing a truly integrated, balanced offering that delivers quality architectural and engineering services to both new and existing clients."
Morris, which will continue to provide services under its current name and leadership, is entering its 75th year of continuous practice as an architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, and planning firm. Morris' current headquarters is located in Houston, where they are ranked in the top ten largest architectural firms by The Houston Business Journal "Book of Lists." Other office locations are in Orlando, Florida and Los Angeles, California. Morris' primary markets include Commercial Development, Corporate Offices, Higher Education, Health Care, Entertainment, and Hospitality. Morris is well known for its dedication to design excellence, with numerous national and local design awards from organizations including the Boston Society of Architects, the American Institute of Architects Houston Chapter, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Texas Society of Architects.
