The Keller Army Community Hospital Clinic at the United States Military Academy at West Point is designed to achieve LEED Silver

EwingCole, Philadelphia, designed the new $34 million addition to the Keller Army Community Hospital Clinic at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification and is expected to be completed by May of 2014.

The 51,000 square foot addition will become the home for optometry, ophthalmology, physical therapy, and orthopedics clinics, as well as provide TRICARE office space. The clinic design can respond over time to changes in the mix of examination rooms, patient needs and physician services without the need for renovation. This provides unmatched flexibility for the Army and its patient population. The project will be phased to allow the hospital to remain open during construction.

Named after World War I surgeon William L. Keller who served there in 1914, the hospital was dedicated in 1977, offering significant improvements in patient care at the time. BD+C
