RTKL's Los Angles office is designing the Shanghai Changzheng New Pudong Hospital, which will be the largest new hospital built in China in a single phase. The 3.9 million-sf facility will have 2,200-beds in four inpatient towers, a VIP patient tower, an outpatient center, an emergency center, and an infectious disease building. The $413 million facility will also include research and teaching facilities, dormitories for students and staff, an administration building, and a conference and reception facility.
