Mark Chen has been named Director of Design at Heery International where he is responsible for managing and revitalizing Heery’s design practice on a unified national basis. He succeeds Greg Peirce, who retired after 32 years with Heery.

Chen comes to Heery from his own firm, Mark Chen Architect, a design and planning consulting firm, based in New York City, whose recent work includes large-scale planning studies for mixed-use projects in Kazakhstan; Chengdu, China; and Philadelphia. He has over 30 years of experience as a designer and planner of commercial, education and health care buildings throughout the U.S. He has also provided urban design and planning services for large-scale projects in the U.S. and abroad. +
