The New York office of international multi-disciplinary engineering firm Buro Happold welcomes civil engineer Neil Porto, PE, as principal, effective June 4. Porto brings a broad depth of expertise in civil and structural engineering to new and existing Buro Happold projects, such as the third section of the High Line, St. Petersburg Pier in Florida, and Chicagoās historic Navy Pier.
Porto has worked for 25 years in technical and management roles on a variety of high-profile transportation, highway, bridge, and waterfront engineering projects, such as the East River Esplanade and Piers Project in his previous role at HDR|Daniel Frankfurt. +
