The editors of Building Design+Construction and Multifamily Pro+ were honored last week with a 2024 Jesse H. Neal Award for editorial excellence for their work on the “2023 Multifamily Annual Report.” The 76-page special report, published last October, won the Neal Award for Best Subject-Related Package.
With this award, BD+C’s editorial team now has a total of 33 Neal Awards in its collection of honors.
The 70th annual Neal Awards competition is sponsored and hosted by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Widely regarded as the highest honor in business journalism, the award recognizes journalistic enterprise, service to the industry, and editorial craftsmanship.

Renovation highlights include a new “waterless” water entry feature and new sports bar and grill, plus updates to gaming, poker, off-track-betting, retail, and bingo areas. The local office of San Francisco-based Swinerton Builders will provide construction services.

California buildings: now even more efficient
