The editors of Building Design+Construction and Multifamily Pro+ were honored last week with a 2024 Jesse H. Neal Award for editorial excellence for their work on the “2023 Multifamily Annual Report.” The 76-page special report, published last October, won the Neal Award for Best Subject-Related Package.
With this award, BD+C’s editorial team now has a total of 33 Neal Awards in its collection of honors.
The 70th annual Neal Awards competition is sponsored and hosted by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Widely regarded as the highest honor in business journalism, the award recognizes journalistic enterprise, service to the industry, and editorial craftsmanship.
“We are absolutely thrilled and honored to be recognized by our peers in business journalism with the industry’s most prestigious award,” says David Barista, Editorial Director of BD+C and Multifamily Pro+. “Producing the 2023 Multifamily Annual Report was a true team effort, not just for the editors and writers, but across the entire organization at SGC Horizon. This project speaks to our company’s strong team culture, entrepreneurial spirit, and mission to produce high-quality business intelligence for our print and digital readers.”
