The redevelopment of the Flatbush Caton Market into a 14-story mixed-use building, dubbed Caton Flats, will revitalize the 20-year-old market and look to preserve the Caribbean community amidst gentrification.

The project will include 255 units of affordable housing, 16,000 sf of retail space on the ground floor, and an additional 10,000 sf of space designated for retail space, a shared commercial kitchen for use by start-up or businesses, and flexible community space. 10,000 sf on the second floor will be used for the new permanent headquarters of The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI).

Housing units are available in studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. Construction is currently underway with Lettire Construction Corp. as the general contractor.
