BIM market value to hit $6.5 billion by 2020

Sales of BIM software and services are expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 17.3%, to a market value of $6.5 billion in 2020.

The global market for building information modeling products and services for 2012 was predicted to hit $1.8 billion, according to market intelligence firm Pike Research (now part of Navigant). Sales of BIM software and services—such as training, support, and project management—are expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 17.3%, to a market value of $6.5 billion in 2020.
