Building Design+Construction’s first Under40 Leadership Summit took place this past October in New Orleans. The industry’s top young professionals took part in three days of networking, leadership development, and strategy generating.

The event kicked off with a Building Team Tour that included stops at the Make it Right Foundation residential construction sites in the Lower 9th Ward; an Army Corps of Engineers levee system and pumping station; and the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life and Dinwiddie Hall at Tulane University.

The two-day Under 40 Leadership Summit continued with a Leadership Style interactive presentation; Great Solutions presentations from Under 40 attendees (see Great Solutions, page 44); the Owner’s Perspective panel discussion; and the Blue Ocean Strategy presentation.
