BBS Architects & Engineers acquires Ward Associates

The merged companies’ on-going project portfolio valued at $220 million.

BBS Architects & Engineers, P.C. acquired the professional team and practice of Ward Associates, P.C., a Bohemia, NY-headquartered master planning, architecture, landscape architecture, sports facilities design, civil engineering and surveying firm active in the Greater New York area and throughout the New York State. 

Roger P. Smith, AIA, LEED AP, will lead the expanded design firm as president, principal and lead architect.

The merged companies will operate under the new name of BBS Architects, Landscape Architects and Engineers, PC. The company will be headquartered at BBS’ office in Patchogue, NY, and offer a full scope of architecture and engineering services to clients in the Northeast and nationwide. BD+C
