Bangkok gets a leaning tower, that may topple

A seven-story apartment tower under construction in Bangkok has started to tilt and is on the verge of toppling.

The Bangkok Post reported this morning on a seven-story apartment tower under construction in the metro area that has started to tilt and is on the verge of toppling. According to the report, the first floor is almost completed destroyed and cracks were found throughout the other floors, as well.

Many residents from its twin building next door have fled their homes in fear of the tower falling. It was 70% complete when construction workers started to notice the movement.

Both towers have been surrounded with scaffolding and covered with cloth to prevent dust and debris from falling.
