American Tank & Vessel, Inc. (AT&V) has been awarded the 2008 Chemical Processing's Reader's Choice Award for Best Technology Provider of Tanks and Vessels in 2008. AT&V's services include terminal, pipeline, mill-plant projects for federal and/or public administrations, private-owner corporations, industrial engineering, and construction companies in the U. S. and several foreign countries. These projects are typically large-scale industrial, power, energy, chemical, pulp and paper, nuclear waste, and wastewater projects that often involve fast-track engineering and construction demands. Assets include design, fabrication/pre-fabrication, production, shipping, and construction of field-erected and shop-built tanks, pressure vessels, spheres, towers, stacks, bins, silos, and any other equipment made of formed or welded steel plate.

American Tank & Vessel, Inc. was founded in 1982 in Mobile, AL, where their corporate and financial offices remain. The company's main North American Operations Center is housed in a 73-acre industrial facility located in Lucedale, MS. AT&V has engineering and construction support facilities in Mobile, AL; Houston, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Birmingham, AL; Lucedale, MS; and Moss Point, MS.

"The award is timely with AT&V releasing technology associated with emission reductions on tanks to the general market and overall customer base," said W.T. Cutts, AT&V vice president.
