Archicad subscription option available in U.S. and Canada

Buyers can choose between perpetual licensing and flexible monthly or annual terms.

By Graphisoft | March 21, 2018

BOSTON, March 15, 2018 – GRAPHISOFT®, the leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) software developer for architects and designers, today announced the extension of licensing options available for ARCHICAD, its industry-leading BIM software solution.

In addition to standard “perpetual” and “rental” licenses, now both ARCHICAD and ARCHICAD Solo are available as “subscription” licenses. Available subscription terms are either on a monthly or annual renewal basis. Customers can choose to mix both perpetual and subscription products, license options and terms to provide the maximum flexibility for their practice.

“Offering choice and freedom to our customers with these flexible licensing and purchasing options strengthens a firm’s ability to manage risk and be in control of their business decisions,” says Campbell Yule, GRAPHISOFT’s Global Business Development Director. “We’re pleased to further expand their choices and introduce subscription as a new purchase option.”

“GRAPHISOFT is committed to providing flexibility and will continue to offer both the existing perpetual license model alongside the new subscription model,” says Viktor Varkonyi, GRAPHISOFT CEO. “Customers can access our software in a way that works best for them. We see these new licensing options as a perfect complement to our existing perpetual license program.”

All licensing and purchase options for ARCHICAD and ARCHICAD Solo are now available via GRAPHISOFT’s value-added resellers and sales representatives across the U.S. and Canada. To connect with an authorized representative contact: salesUS@graphisoft.com.
