Arbortech of Leominster, MA, announced recently that the AS160 Brick and Mortar Saw has been awarded a prestigious 2008 NOVA Award by the Construction Innovation Forum (CIF). Formed in 1987, the CIF is an international, nonprofit organization whose goal is to foster and encourage innovation that improves quality and reduces cost of construction.
Nominations are invited from all parts of industry, from all over the world. Nominees undergo a rigorous investigation process by an International Jury of respected industry professionals, and Jury members carefully consider the merit of the entry based on strict selection criteria. Nominees must show that they "improve quality, reduce cost, and promote good, acceptable, construction practices." The AS160 was selected from a field of 35 nominations as a recipient of the award, which was presented at a gala dinner in Palm Springs, CA.
