James Breagy has been appointed director of sales metro New York for Allsteel Inc.
Breagy is responsible for overseeing this region’s sales team while strategically coordinating the sales efforts of Allsteel dealers and representatives in the tri-state area.
Breagy moves into this position with 22 years of industry experience, seven of them with Allsteel. Most recently he was the company’s Northeast region manager, based in Boston. He will be relocating to the New York metro area in June and work from the company’s new Resource Center at 79 Madison Avenue, floor 14. BD+C

Construction is set to start in December on the new Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s $55 million hospital in Newnan, Ga. The 225,000-sf facility will have 25 universal inpatient beds, two linear accelerator vaults, an HDR/Brachy therapy vault, and a radiology and imaging unit.

Apartment complex will offer affordable green housing
Urban Housing Communities, KTGY Group, and the City of Big Bear Lake (Calif.) Improvement Agency are collaborating on The Crossings at Big Bear Lake, the first apartment complex in the city to offer residents affordable, eco-friendly homes. KTGY designed 28 two-bedroom, two-story townhomes and 14 three-bedroom, single-story flats, averaging 1,100 sf each.

Community center under way in NYC seeks LEED Platinum
