Alberici Constructors, Inc. was honored as the 2012 “General Contractor of the Year” by the American Subcontractor Association – Midwest Division at their award gala in St. Louis on April 14. Alberici has been honored eight times in the award’s nineteen-year history--more than any other general contractor in its class.

Alberici was one of five finalists for the award, all of whom were evaluated by regional subcontractors for bid ethics and practice, safety policy and practices, jobsite supervision, communication, scheduling coordination, project relations, administrative procedures, and quality workmanship.

“Throughout our history, we have always taken great care in managing the relationships we have with our subcontractors,” said Alberici Vice President Ron Wiese. “At the heart of these relationships is our commitment to fairness and the role it plays toward achieving overall project success.”

This past March, Alberici also became the first ever recipient of the ASA’s National Best Practices Award, an honor given to general contractors across the United States who demonstrate an extraordinary level of commitment to best industry practices. BD+C
